Why does the site look different?
The redesigned ECMPS Support website provides:
-- Simple navigation with an open book layout;-- A more organized and expanded help section;
-- Enhanced search functionality; and
-- Increased accessibility for disabled users.
The new home page groups main pages into the following sections: ECMPS News, Software Downloads, Learn about ECMPS, and Help. You can also access all of the main pages of the site from the new menu.
The "ECMPS News" section will function exactly as it did on the old site -- if you signed up to receive email alerts, then you will continue to get those emails. Additionally, those of you who subscribed to the RSS feed will continue to receive ECMPS updates in your news reader. The three most recent news items are posted on the home page in the ECMPS News section.
The "Software Downloads" section contains all downloads, the system requirements, and the latest release information, including the Release Notes and the Installation Guide.
The "Learn about ECMPS" section is where you can find tutorials, reporting documentation, and stakeholder meeting recordings.
The "Help" section underwent the most significant changes (the old site referred to this information as "Technical Support"). It has been designed to help you answer questions faster and more efficiently. Based on the type of issue you are experiencing, you can pinpoint the exact information that you need. If you cannot find what you are looking for and need to request technical support, we have clearly defined all of the supplementary information that you will need to provide so that our technical support team can answer your question as quickly as possible. Look for the green "Request Tech Support" icon throughout the Help section. Additionally, we have made it easier to request data resubmissions by providing a form for you to fill out.
The site-wide search should be more helpful, too. Now your search results will include FAQs, reporting instructions, and check specifications. If you receive too many results, you can narrow your search using more advanced features.
All of the information from the old site is available in the redesigned site. One easy way to locate information is by viewing the Site Map.
We hope you enjoy the new site!
